Festus is a true legend in sound system business as the operator of the legendary coxsone sound system which was formed in London in 1969 Coxsone were the first sound to play DUB style Leading the way for the the likes of shaka etc. This promises to be one serious dance when Festus takes the controls on the friday night!!

Also coming out of coxsone sound as a dj known as Country - Levi Roots has a long history in roots music. Early 80`s he formed matic 16 & recorded hits like ``jahovah`` mid 90`s saw the birth of his mighty soundbox label & he was nominated for best reggae performer at the 1998 mobo awards. Having toured worldwide with artists such as black uhuru, burning spear, sizzla, lee scratch too name a few – this man is truly at the top of his game! & off course lets not forget his recent success outside of the music business!

As one of the leading roots vocalists in the new breed of UK roots Tena began his career back in 1982. to this day Tena has recorded with all the top uk roots producers & runs his own label DUB CORNER to many

Erupting like the volcano of his home town Montserrat, the faya youth Jah Marnyah has taken the world by surprise. Born Euclid Skerritt in Plymouth, Montserrat he was nurtured by his grandmother as a youth in the small village of Salem and observed the growing Rastafari faith of the island.

To begin with he thought that one-man-on-yah but after deep meditation he realised Jah-man-on-yah where he got the name Jah Marnyah and has vowed to work for the Most High ever since. Whilst in Montserrat Jah Marnyah musically enlightened himself playing lead in school steel pan.

As a result of the volcano he moved to England as a youth, where he built on the knowledge and experience of his life and became an unforgettable reggae sing-jay, songwriter. On his journey he was inspired by Montserrat's Penny man & General Ski not to mention the militant reggae warriors Richie Spice, Luciano, Jah Mason, and Jah Cure. Jah Marnyah has collaborated with great artist's like Diamond, Iyahkayah and sang with notorious bands; BDF (Basque Dub Foundation from Spain) and Duppy Conquerors.

Some of his dub records which have been sold & loved internationally including 'Anointed One', 'Fuss & Fight' and 'I try' have all been released on the scoops label, showing his versatility in all aspects of music. As a youth I always committed my thoughts hopes and fears onto paper. I found it a great way of dealing with the frustrations that I had
growing up in the UK. Better out then in as my folks would say and roots music, as I found was a great way of releasing the pressure.

The first time I used my vocal talent was on a dub plate for Aba- Shanti. It's A Crime was recorded and produced at the Dub Factory Studio. Around 2000 I hooked up with my long time bred'in Richi Rootz who encouraged me to do some vocals for a joint collaboration he was doing with Vibronics.

With his distinctive, nasal delivery and steadfast conscious messages, singer Earl Daley (née Earl 16) has been a part of the international reggae landscape for three decades. Both in Jamaica and his current London home, Daley always finds just the right producer or team to elicit the rootsy music framework his voice deserves.

This has lead to landmark collaborations with the likes of producer and singer Mikey Dread, British electronic-dub/dance producers Dreadzone, and the dubmaster Mad Professor. It’s easy to see why Daley has become such a revered performer and sought-after recording artist.
